Meet Garry
A BIT ABOUT ME
My name is Garry Wood and I am from the Essex and surrounding area. As a person I am deeply passionate about the things I do and the people around me. I have always been committed to upholding the best standards I can give.
For many years I had been involved in local theatre before training in musical theatre professionally. Having worked as a singer and actor around the world I took time out to pursue a career in care and support.
For the last 15 years I have worked with vulnerable children, young adults and adults, supporting them to live independent and fulfilled lives. From assisting with personal needs to job coaching, I am proud of what I have contributed to others success and achievements.
On top of this I have worked as a full time drag artist up and down the country as well as abroad. More about this on my Drag ceremonies page.
Becoming a Celebrant seemed a natural step for me. To bring all of my varied experience together. I want to offer my skills to families and individuals to bring their story to life and celebrate with love.
I would be delighted to have a conversation with you and collaborate on planning a memorable ceremony. Together, we can create an occasion filled with love, laughter, respect, and dignity all tailored to your needs.
